Her Rhythm is a cycle-tracking app that helps partners understand and support the women they love. Because this app handles sensitive health information, privacy is its most important feature.
Information We Collect
The App stores the following data exclusively on your device:
- Menstrual cycle data — last period start date, period duration, cycle length, and predicted phases (menstrual, follicular, ovulation, luteal)
- User profile preferences — names and display settings stored locally
- Biometric authentication data — fingerprint or Face ID, managed entirely by your device's OS. The App never has access to the biometric data itself.
How Your Data Is Used
- Cycle data is used entirely within the App to calculate phases, predict upcoming events, and generate the visual cycle calendar
- Biometric data is used solely to protect access to your health information
- No data is used for advertising, profiling, research, or any purpose beyond the App's core function
Data Storage & Security
All data is stored locally on your device. Her Rhythm makes no network requests and has no backend server. Cycle data is stored in local databases (shared preferences and SQLite). When you uninstall the App, all data is permanently deleted from your device.
The App's source code explicitly contains no server communication of any kind.

Third-Party Services
Her Rhythm does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, cloud storage, or data sharing services. All libraries used operate entirely on-device.
Sensitive Health Data
Her Rhythm handles menstrual health data, which is classified as sensitive personal health information. We treat this data with the highest level of care. It is stored only on your device, never transmitted, never shared, and never accessible to the developer or any third party.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for adult users. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
